Pavlov's Kids: Psychological Terrorism and Conditioning Aimed At The Youth

"In our dreams…people yield themselves with perfect docility to our molding hands. The present educational conventions fade from our minds, and unhampered by tradition we work our own good will upon a grateful and responsive folk. We shall not try to make these people or any of their children into philosophers or men of learning or men of science...The task we set before ourselves is very simple…we will organize children…and teach them to do in a perfect way the things their fathers and mothers are doing in an imperfect way." General Education Board - Occasional Letter Number One, 1906

Ivan Pavlov, a Russian Darwinian psychologist developed a scientific method of getting a constant conditioned response from his dogs. He rang the bell when the dogs were about to be fed repeatedly and found that eventually by just ringing the bell the dog would salivate. You could say that it was a knee-jerk reaction that was instituted over a period of time. Pavlov theories were very interesting to those in Soviet Russia and he was given a government stipend to develop psychological warfare techniques in order to spread communism to the masses.

"Ah consensus … the process of abandoning all beliefs, principles, values and policies in search of something in which no one believes, but to which no one objects; the process of avoiding the very issues that have to be solved, merely because you cannot get agreement on the way ahead. What great cause would have been fought and won under the banner 'I stand for consensus'?" Margaret Thatcher

Pavlov was a student of Wilhelm Wundt who was the founder of psychological warfare which originally was developed to create disorganization in nations or in
people to keep them from being united in idea or purpose. Yet he strongly believed in the 'group-mind'. That is to say that groups have minds as well and psychology would apply to both the individual and the hive. The creation of the hive mind system and the evolution of it is what has led to the educational system of today as well as 'sensitivity training'.

"Groups can also evolve into adaptive units with respect to cognitive activities such as decision making, memory, and learning. As one example, decision-making is a process that involves identifying a problem, imagining a number of alternative solutions, evaluating the alternatives, and making the final decision on how to behave. Each of these activities can be performed by an individual as a self-contained cognitive unit but might be performed even better by groups of individuals interacting in a coordinated fashion." Sloan Wilson, 1997

Today Pavlov's patented method has been perfected and used methodically to transform unknowing human beings into guinea pigs. Every man, woman and child has been thoroughly conditioned and fashioned into manageable pups at the pleasure of the master class and their governmental and intergovernmental vehicles such as Department of Education and UNESCO.

"One of the chief aims of education today should be the preparation of boys and girls for intelligence participation in a world society...Preparation for such a world society should be carried on with pupils of all ages and in all the schools of the world" UNESCO - Teaching about the United Nations, 1948

Education has radically changed from the days of my grandfather's era. In their day their educational curriculum varied from county to county and state to state. In the government correctional educational system of today the course of studies comes directly from UNESCO and the Department of Education.

"The Behavioral Science Teacher Education Program (BSTEP) is designed to achieve the following three major goals:

1. Development of a new kind of elementary school teacher who is basically well educated, engages in teaching as a clinical practice… and functions as a responsible agent of social change

2. Systematic use of research and clinical experience in decision-making processes at all levels

3. A new laboratory and clinical base, from the behavioral sciences, on which to found undergraduate and in-service teacher education programs, and recycle evaluations of teaching tools and performance" BSTEP-Behavioral Science Teacher Education Program, DOE, 1970

The very idea that your teacher is now your psychologist, social worker and 'change' agent came from this framework back in 1969. Aldous Huxley mentioned this in his book Brave New World, using the stimulus of electric shock to put fear into children and teach them to hate certain things like books or flowers. This is called behavioral modification and it can work without subjecting the children to any dangers. Behavioral science became the norm and the very thought of critical learning skills were thrown under the bus, education was no longer about children being developed to be the best they can be but radically changing their mental sub-processes and acclimating them into the worker bee environment.

"Mass education was the ingenious machine constructed by industrialism to produce the kind of adults it needed. The problem was inordinately complex. How to pre-adapt children for a new world—a world of repetitive indoor toil, smoke, noise, machines, crowded living conditions, collective discipline, a world in which time was to be regulated not by the cycle of sun and moon, but by the factory whistle and the clock." Future Shock, Alvin Toffler

Parents must have noticed that no matter how hard they try to instill their family values, customs and heritage into their children they reject them. Children and adolescents do not reject them based on logic or preferences but based on their pre-programmed data in their subconscious. Parents also definitely have not noticed that they too are victims of the similar tools of persuasion and decision making.

"The Delphi technique is a method of eliciting and refining group judgments. The rationale for the procedures is primarily the age—old adage "Two heads are better than one" when the issue is one where exact knowledge is not available. The procedures have three features:

(I) Anonymous response opinions of members of the group are obtained by formal questionnaire.
(2) Iteration and controlled feedback interaction is effected by a systematic exercise conducted in several iterations, with carefully controlled feedback
between rounds

(3) Statistical group response- the group opinion is defined as an appropriate aggregate of individual opinions on the final round. These features are designed to
minimize the biasing effects of dominant individuals, of irrelevant communications, and of group pressure toward conformity." --The Delphi Method: An Experimental Study of Group, RAND Corp

I think it is very important to draw upon history and historical techniques and applications so that we can determine the damage done to the psyche. The Delphi Technique was described by some USAF airmen at Los Alamos. I will cut through the lawyer speak and tell you exactly what it is. It was originally designed as a forecasting tool for political policy and what it is to this day is a method of allowing politicians, governments and others to bring about policy through consensus based on dodgy statistics, lies and half-truths while circumventing the will of the people. It is a mathematically proven Hegelian Dialectic on steroids.

"Yet Obama connects his past as a Chicago organizer to his presidential bid with surprising ease. Last month, during his first visit to South Carolina since his campaign announcement, we discussed his community-organizing days. He sat at the head of along table inside a dimly lit hotel conference room in Columbia and ate a chocolate energy bar. When I began to suggest links between his organizing work then and his current campaign, he interrupted:"I think there is. I don't think you need to strain for it." He was at home talking Alinskian jargon about "agitation," which he defined as "challenging people to scrape away habit," and he fondly recalled organizing workshops where he learned the concept of "being predisposed to other people's power." Barack Obama's unlikely political education, The New Republic, 2007

This consensus machine has served Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton well. Obama was a community organizer who learned Saul Alinsky techniques through Mike Krulik and Hillary was mentored by Saul Alinsky himself who applied the Delphi technique in use for community organizing. The most cunning heads of state, presidents and their cabinet members use these and other means to keep their citizenry in line with their own beliefs.

"Kruglik remembers this episode as an example of why, in ten years of training organizers, Obama was the best student he ever had. He was a natural, the undisputed master of agitation, who could engage a room full of recruiting targets in a rapid-fire Socratic dialogue, nudging them to admit that they were not living up to their own standards. As with the panhandler, he could be aggressive and confrontational. With probing, sometimes personal questions, he would pinpoint the source of pain in their lives, tearing down their egos just enough before dangling a carrot of hope that they could make things better." Barack Obama's unlikely political education, The New Republic, 2007

That is how it works, every few years someone rides into power under a great groundswell of support from every day people. These people have nothing in common with the common folk and yet if you asked those very same people who voted for them you would find they saw themselves in that politician. The playbook only slightly varies from decade to decade because it works.

Now with a new found power and influence Obama wants to impress upon the youth even further by creating a public-private funded government child education incubators as well as fully funding Americorps. Sooner or later American children will be goose-stepping to the beat of an Alinskian tactician. If we and our children are ever going to avoid the traps of group think, peer pressured decision making, controlled responses and mass manipulation we must become knowledgeable in these techniques and expose them every chance we get. The battle for the hearts and minds of mankind is at hand and we must be vigilant.
