Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova on Wednesday asked Joe Biden directly whether he carried out his threat to destroy the Nord Stream 2 pipeline.
From TASS, "Russian diplomat warns Biden over pipeline incidents":
"US President Joe Biden must answer the question of whether the United States carried out its threat on September 25 and 26 when an emergency was reported at three lines of Nord Stream 1 and Nord Stream 2, which has been preliminarily recognized as ruptures, whereas he suggested those were blown up," the Russian diplomat said on her Telegram channel. On it, she posted a video in which the US leader delivers the speech in question.

Reporter: "But how will you do that, exactly, since...the project is in Germany's control?"
Biden: "I promise you, we will be able to do that." https://t.co/uruQ4F4zM9 pic.twitter.com/4ksDaaU0YC
"His statement of intent was backed up with a promise. One must be responsible for one's words. Failure to understand what one says does not absolve anyone of responsibility. Europe must know the truth!" Zakharova emphasized.
Zakharova told the EU on Wednesday to treat the US as a culprit in the attacks.
The Swedish coast guard reported Thursday that there are four leaks in total on the Nord Stream pipelines, two in each.
"'Two of these four are in Sweden’s exclusive economic zone,' Larsson said, adding that the two others were in the Danish exclusive zone," RT reported.
German media outlet Tagesspiegel reported Wednesday that both pipelines may be "unusable forever" as a result of the damages, citing government officials.
"Technical experts say the pipelines will become harder to repair once all of the gas has escaped and they fill with seawater and start to corrode," The Guardian reported. "'Ice plugs' blocking the pipes could further hamper repair works."
Fox News host Tucker Carlson said Tuesday that if the Biden regime carried out the attacks it would be an historic act of "environmental terrorism" and means the US is now "directly at war" with Russia.
The Pentagon told Fox News on Thursday they "were absolutely not involved" in the Nord Stream 2 pipeline explosion.
Meanwhile in Russia: every state TV program is feasting on Tucker Carlson's accusations that the Biden administration is somehow involved in causing the Nord Stream damage. Military expert loved Tucker's idea about cutting undersea internet cables & said, "Sure, why not?" Watch: pic.twitter.com/bDVwl2Z7yN— Julia Davis (@JuliaDavisNews) September 29, 2022
With tensions between the US and Russia reaching heights not seen since the Cold War, the State Department on Wednesday issued an alert for all Americans to flee Russia "as soon as possible."
